Go All In: National Year of Reading 2026

Everyone knows the benefits of reading: it expands your world, sharpens your mind. It might even make you more creative or successful.

But increasingly, fewer of us are making time to read. With so many forms of entertainment at our fingertips, reaching for a book can feel like a chore. Something we should do, but don’t really want to do.

But we believe it's just a matter of shifting the focus. So for the National Year of Reading in 2026, we're bringing reading to where culture is.

We believe reading is a powerful plug-in to the things you already love – a great way to go deeper into your existing passions. Put simply we say: ‘if you’re into it, read into it’.

We’re asking the nation to go all in this national year of reading 2026 and see how reading in all its forms can unlock more of what you love – whether it’s music, baking, family time, films, sci-fi or… anything.

Whatever you're into. Get ready to GO ALL IN.

What Our Customers Are Reading

As part of our GO ALL IN campaign — a celebration of reading, sharing and community — we want to hear from you. Every week, we’ll feature three Goldsboro readers telling us what they’ve been reading and why they loved it. Books connect us in remarkable ways. Whether it’s a novel that kept you awake all night, a memoir that made you cry, or a hidden gem you wish everyone knew about — we’d love to share your story. Your recommendation might just inspire someone else to pick up a book. 📚 How to Take Part
