About the Author

Andrew Gibson

Between 1988 and 1995, Professor Andrew Gibson wrote and published five novels (Ellis and the Hummick, The Abradizil, Jemima, Grandma and the Great Lost Zone, The Amazing Witherspoon's Amazing Circus Crew, Chegwith Skillet Escapes and one collection of short stories for children, The Rollickers.

The collection was illustrated by various artists, but the novels were all illustrated by the major talent of Chris Riddell.

This is a side of Gibson’s work that has since gone into abeyance (or hibernation) but that he is now reviving.
