Celebrating 25 Years of Literary Excellence: Goldsboro Books Announces Anniversary Anthology ‘25’

London, United Kingdom - May 16, 2024 - Goldsboro Books, the renowned independent bookshop nestled in the heart of London and Brighton, is set to mark its 25th anniversary in September with a remarkable celebration of storytelling. To commemorate this milestone, Goldsboro Books proudly announces the release of its 25th Anniversary Anthology, edited by Emily Glenister.

Since its inception, Goldsboro Books has been a home for book lovers, offering a curated selection of the finest first edition books. Over the past quarter-century, the bookstore has built a loyal and engaged fan base of readers and writers alike. Goldsboro Books pioneered the original book subscription box, PREM1ER. It is the home of the renowned Glass Bell Award, and is the driving force behind London’s largest, premium crime fiction festival, the annual Capital Crime Festival.

The 25th Anniversary Anthology represents a culmination of Goldsboro Books' commitment to championing exceptional storytelling. Commissioned exclusively for this milestone occasion, the anthology features a stellar line-up of some of the bookstore's favourite authors, each contributing a unique short story crafted expressly for this collection.

"We are thrilled to commemorate our 25th anniversary with this extraordinary anthology," says David Headley, co-founder of Goldsboro Books. "It's a testament to the enduring power of storytelling and the incredible talent of the authors who have graced our shelves over the years. We're immensely grateful to our customers for their unwavering support and enthusiasm, and we can't wait to share this special collection with them. I have also written a short story, my first time writing."

From gripping mysteries to poignant tales of love and loss, the 25th Anniversary Anthology promises to captivate readers with its diverse range of narratives. Among the esteemed authors featured in the anthology are John Connolly, Elodie Harper, Jennie Godfrey, Abir Mukherjee, SA Cosby, and many more.

The anthology will be available in limited edition hardcover, with pre-orders opening on 26th July 2024.
