Book Condition & Notes
This copy has a lean and a discoloured page block. At some point the previous owner has rested a cup of something on the top of it, and it has three discoloured circles on both the dust jacket and the front board. There is a lot of shelf wear and there is a triangular tear in the front of the dust jacket, though the piece is still there.
About the book
First published in 1955, a novel set in a choir school about a young boy who, by taking part in an old ritual, discovers more about the cathedral towers than he expected and comes to solve a mystery which has baffled people for hundreds of years. In the OXFORD CHILDREN'S LIBRARY series.
