Michael Ramsay, who had served a sentence on a manslaughter charge (a false conviction) comes out of prison to be buried alive in a small village in Ireland. About the Author
John Welcome
John Welcome, a pseudonym, was a lawyer by profession. His real name was John Needham Huggard Brennan. He was educated at Sedbergh School and Oxford.
Run for Cover was his first novel and his early writing included three sporting novels while he also edited Best Secret Service Stories and Best Legal Stories. He wrote and edited 25 books including a number on the history of horse racing.

Book Condition & Notes
Signed and inscribed by John Welcome to an 'Anthony', along with accompanying typed letter. The book is in fine condition. In a good unclipped dust jacket, with several areas where holes have formed in the dust jacket (spine, flap folds and edges of books). A line of holes runs through the back cover, and there is a section of the top of the back cover that has disappeared.
