About the book
Enid Blyton's books are beloved the world over and The Famous Five have been the perennial favourite of her fans. Now, in this new series of Enid Blyton for Grown-Ups, George, Dick, Anne, Julian and Timmy are keen to show Aunt Fanny how much she means to them.
The Five, or Four plus Timmy as his mother is sadly no longer with us, are obsessed with not missing out on getting a Mother's Day present for Aunt Fanny. Especially as they've missed out on birthdays and Christmases past.
Although Aunt Fanny is George's mum (and not Julian, Dick and Anne's) the other three have wanted for ages to get her a present to show her how they all feel. But things don't go according to plan, and poor Uncle Quentin ends up in hospital.
