  • Book Condition & Notes

    This copy is well worn and the boards reflect this. There is a bow in the front board and it has rippled. The corners, spine and edges of the boards are all worn down. The jacket has several tears and creases, and a piece is missing at the bottom right hand corner on the front.

Munro Leaf

Wilbur Monroe Leaf was an American writer of children's literature who wrote and illustrated nearly 40 books during his 40-year career. He is best known for The Story of Ferdinand, a children's classic which he wrote on a yellow legal-length pad in less than an hour.
