About the Author

Marc Priestley

Marc Priestley worked for McLaren from 2000-2009, winning the World Championship with Lewis Hamilton in 2008. Under the legendary Ron Dennis, he worked with such other Championship-winning drivers as Fernando Alonso, Kimi Raikkonen and Mika Hakkinen. His memoir of that time,The Mechanic, was published in 2017, and has sold over a hundred thousand copies.Since leaving McLaren he has worked with businesses around the world as a keynote speaker and consultant, advising on strategy and performance. Marc provides expert analysis as part of the BBC’s F1 commentary team and is the co-host of the hugely popular television show,Wheeler Dealers.
