Benny Bunt is an ex-speed freak, a helplessly dominated husband, a misfit on the sun-bleached, fog-drenched streets of Southern California, and a barfly who makes pocket money snitching on his friends. About the Author

Christopher Goffard

Christopher Goffard is an award-winning American journalist, novelist and non-fiction author. As a reporter for the Los Angeles Times, he was part of the team that won the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service in 2011, and he has twice been a Pulitzer finalist for feature writing. His work regularly appears in the Best American Newspaper Narratives series.

His first book, a literary crime novel called Snitch Jacket, was a finalist for the Edgar Allan Poe Award for Best First Novel, and prompted the Guardian to say he "writes like an angel and plots like a demon." His second book, a nonfiction work entitled You Will See Fire: A Search for Justice in Kenya, was hailed by Peter Orner in The Rumpus as "one of the finest non-fiction books set in Africa in recent years."
