    A very good first edition, in the publisher's red cloth. Minor spotting on the page ends. In a fair, unclipped jacket. Two tears running on the seam between the spine and covers have been repaired with tape. There is a large chip to the top of the spine and a small chip on the bottom of the spine. Spotting on the back cover, and all over the reverse of the jacket.

All of this was conducted under the very noses of their prison guards. When the right night came, the actual escape itself was timed to the split second - but of course, not everything went according to plan...
