Alex McKnight is sipping a Canadian beer in the Glasgow Inn when Randy Wilkins, a left-handed pitcher from his baseball days in Detroit, turns up out of the blue. Finally he gets to the point. Randy's in love with a girl called Maria and wants to find her. The only problem being that he last saw her thirty years ago. Steve Hamilton

Steve Hamilton is the New York Times bestselling author of both the Alex McKnight series and the standalone novel The Lock Artist, currently in film development.
