About the book

A smashing, fun, exciting adventure of good against evil in the rich and colourful setting of ancient India. Anahita is the beautiful, gentle daughter of the town's master saddlemaker. She and her family are poor but happy. Everyone loves her but the Prince particularly so, though both of them know that a match can never be - she is poor and he a King's son. Anahita's happy life is disrupted when an evil, greedy magician moves into the town. He falls in love with her beauty and wants her as his servant. He will allow nothing to get in his way. Thus starts a magical, thrilling adventure as Anahita and her friends battle to overcome the black magic and dark heart of the magician of Samarkand.
