London: The Hogarth Press 1932. First Edition / First printing. Publisher's orange cloth, titled in blue, in striking pictoral dustwrapper. Cloth is fine. Wrapper with minor rubbing to tips of spine else fine. A most attractive copy in the first issue binding.

The First World War is over. Eric Vernon is on the cusp of adulthood.
