About the book

'This is a startingly brilliant first novel. The writing is sublime and it is one hell of a story; tense, gripping and deeply emotional. One of the absolute must read books of the year' Tom Bradby, bestselling author of Secret Service
________________

With the world in flames, it seems as though they will never meet again.

A bold German strategy will set in motion a chain of events which will challenge what they believe about themselves and each other. In the heat of battle, what will come first? Their love for their country or their love for each other...
